Hill Center welcomes sponsorships for a range of programs, several of which are described below. Additional details are available according to your potential interest.

Hill Center’s marketing and promotions plan combines traditional and new channels that will enable us to prominently recognize your support. Traditional marketing includes exhibition signage, flyers, press releases, story pitching, and print ads. Digital promotions include weekly email blasts to more than 12,000 individuals, prominent website placement, an active social media campaign (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), outreach to Capitol Hill and DC blogs, and outreach to Culture Capital and Cultural Tourism DC.

Pottery on the Hill

Annual three-day Hill Center signature event showcasing a minimum of 16 of America’s finest functional potters. Event attracts hundreds of visitors from the Capitol Hill neighborhood and beyond.

Annual Donation: $10,000

Talk of the Hill with Bill Press

Award-winning journalist, political insider, and Capitol Hill resident Bill Press hosts a series of thought-provoking conversations with opinion leaders who bring insight to hot topics and complex issues of the day. One of Hill Center’s most popular programs, attracting overflow crowds.

Annual Donation: $10,000

Hill Center Gallery Exhibitions

Hill Center presents a year-round schedule of rotating exhibitions highlighting contemporary works by emerging and established regional artists. The Center hosts a widely publicized free reception to promote each exhibition opening.

Annual Donation: $10,000 ($2,000/exhibition)

Hill Center Concert Series

Street Scenes Concert Series, curated by Shannon Gunn, includes emerging jazz artists, to American Roots – that bring top-tier musical talent to the Capitol Hill community. Concerts are held in the Abraham Lincoln Hall (capacity 100) or on the West Plaza (capacity 250+).

Annual Donation: $10,000 ($1,000/concert)

Volunteer Capitol Hill

This festive annual event is held in partnership with the Capitol Hill Community Foundation to enlist volunteers in the work of Capitol Hill-based nonprofit organizations. Launched in 2013, Volunteer Capitol Hill has been increasingly popular, drawing 40 participating organizations and 350+ guests in 2016.

Annual Donation: $ 5,000

Hill Center Poetry Series

This series of four free programs – moderated by The Washington Post book critic and editor Ron Charles and co-sponsored by the Library of Congress Poetry and Literature Center – includes readings and conversations with nationally renowned, award-winning poets. Each program is widely publicized and includes a catered reception.
