Bonnie Benwick’s Annual Holiday Cookie Baking Class
Saturday, December 7 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
$89.00Veteran food journalists Bonnie Benwick and Jane Touzalin return to Hill Center for another round of holiday cookie fun. This class, like the many ones before it, promises to teach you something new and send you home with freshly baked treats. [Bring an apron and a cookie tin; some boxes will be provided.]
Bonnie Benwick worked as a journalist for four decades, much of which was spent at The Washington Post. During her Food section tenure, she wrote the “Dinner in Minutes” column and other recipe-related features, and ran the test kitchen. She edited The Washington Post Cookbook: Readers’ Favorite Recipes (2013). Retired, she is now involved in cookbook production, and was honored to contribute two recipes to the terrific A Taste of Hill Center (2021). Jane Touzalin, an accomplished baker who also retired from The Post, was (and probably still is) the best all-around editor that Bonnie ever worked for/with.
