Veteran food writer and editor Bonnie Benwick returns to Hill Center for her annual holiday cookie class. This festive class has become a fun, informative, and delectable Hill Center tradition! As an added bonus, this year once again features the charming assistance of Washington Post alumna Jane Touzalin. We’ll build, decorate, twist, and shape treats you can take home.
Bonnie Benwick worked as a journalist for four decades, much of which was spent at The Washington Post. During her tenure at the paper’s food section, she wrote the weekly “Dinner in Minutes” column and recipe-related features for The Washington Post Magazine. She edited The Washington Post Cookbook: Readers’ Favorite Recipes (2013). In retirement, she has been reviewing, testing, and editing cookbooks, and even contributed two recipes to A Taste of Hill Center: Date-Night Pasta and Avocado and Blood Orange Salsa.
