Are you a Chinese dumpling aficionado? Do you crave them in an array of different shapes and sizes, with scrumptious meat and vegetable fillings? Join this class to satisfy your deep dumpling urge.

Jen Lin-Liu will teach you the secrets of dumpling making, from the process of making the dough from scratch to stuffing them with juicy meaty, seafood, and vegetable fillings. We’ll also cover the cooking techniques of steaming, pan-frying, and boiling, plus making chili sauce from scratch. Join us for this four hour interactive class that takes dumplings to a whole other place — and pleat!

Jen Lin-Liu was born in Chicago and grew up in Southern California. She is the author of Serve the People: A Stir-Fried Journey Through China, On the Noodle Road: From Beijing to Rome with Love and Pasta, and the forthcoming The Notorious Mrs. Chao. She founded acclaimed Beijing cooking school Black Sesame Kitchen and is currently the events director at Chang Chang, a Chinese restaurant by Peter Chang in Dupont Circle.
